We had goaltender interference calls! A Penguin injured by his own teammate! Marc-Andre Fleury standing on his head, in more ways than one! Game 3 had it all, good and bad of hockey. You’ll want to catch up here, or watch some of it below.

It’s a tie between Fleury’s incredible paddle save to keep the Penguins in it for as long as they were, and Shattenkirk’s overtime winner. So why not both?

I have two main takeaways from this.

1. Yes, this is so, so, so, so Warriors, who are fueled by arrogance from the top of the organization on down to the players. Put anyone in that situation — the Warriors’ past three seasons is the winningest stretch ever in NBA history — and they might struggle to do the same. But Golden State literally threw a “Super Villains” party so let’s not act like they don’t know what they’re doing.

2. (whispering so Jazz fans don’t see this) They’re also not wrong. You shouldn’t say those things before a playoff series, even if you’re the overwhelming favorites, unless you’re just trying to piss off the other team. (OK, yes, that is exactly what the Warriors are trying to do.) But I checked out Salt Lake City on Google maps, and this is what it came up with.

However, the next two goal’s Holtby let in were pretty bad and not the fault of the NFL Jerseys Authentic Washington defense. This seemed to seal the deal for Trotz, as the netminder was pulled before the Quality Cheap Jerseys third period even started. Phil Kessel and Jake Guentzel, both off beautiful feeds by Sidney Crosby, beat Holtby to his glove side — a place you shouldn’t allow too much room when up against skillful scorers like the Pens top forward lines.
